Ice Machines in Devil's Peak

Ice machines in Devil's Peak fail for two reasons — scale and heat — and Devil's Peak Estate townhouses, security complexes produces plenty of both. Near Devil's Peak Estate, most machines are boxed into bar joinery with poor airflow, so we correct ventilation and water treatment at the same time as the descale. We keep Devil's Peak bar and kitchen ice plant on the same six-monthly service route as Vredehoek, and stock the common spares on the van.

Devil's Peak Estate is complex living: rows of townhouses sharing walls, courtyards and plant positions, plus a strong rental market where landlords need reliable equipment and fast turnaround between tenants. The suburb sits high and exposed on the eastern flank, so units here take both wind and strong morning sun. Most of our work is efficient split-system installation, landlord maintenance packages and quick fridge and freezer repairs in furnished rentals.

Ice machines fail for two reasons in Cape Town: scale and heat. Cramped bar positions starve the condenser of air, and untreated water furs up the evaporator plate. We install with proper water treatment and ventilation, and we descale and rebuild machines that have been neglected.
